Misaki Kawai (b.1978, Kagawa) is a Japanese visual artist who currently lives and works between New York and Japan. Misaki Kawai has had numerous gallery and museum exhibitions, including at the Children's Museum of The Arts and at the V1 Gallery. Several works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'Pet Jet' sold at Sotheby's New York 'Contemporary Part I and Part II' in 2007. There have been numerous articles about Misaki Kawai, including 'Review: At NADA Art Fair, Collecting for Pleasure, Not Status' written by Roberta Smith for New York Times in 2015.
